The AES Arts Collective was formed in 2019 and is an integral part of what makes ArtEscape Studios & Cafe so special. The Collective is made up of international women working in multidisciplinary fields of art including: oilpainting, acrylic and watercolour painting, pastel and graphite drawing, photography and digital media, collage, paper sculpture and design, creative coaching, textiles and regenerative painting materials!

We collaborate with many different companies generating revenue opportunities and strengthening our networking platforms, which provides our artists with endless work and possibilities for professional development. We are a strong supportive community grounded in helping artists grow creatively.

Art Escape Studios & Cafe is so much more than a cafe.

We have become a welcoming space for internationals in Denmark to find community through artistic expression. 

Everyday, Art Escape Cafe is open and ready to welcome you inside for delicious vegan food and super fun creative activities like painting, drawing, printmaking and collage. In the evening we teach our semester-based art program from 6 to 9 pm. All of our classes and workshops aresuitable for the very beginner to the experienced artist- we have something for everyone!

The cafe space facilitates an ongoing rotation of exhibitions, events and workshops, highlighting our artists, members and students. Pass by and check the exhibition of the month.
