Communal morning singing is a cherished tradition in Denmark and we hope you will join us for a song or two to start the day!

We sing some known songs in English that are to be found in ”Højskolesangbogen” and you will also learn the first verse of the most famous Danish song ”Jeg ved en lærkerede”.

Højskolesangbogen is a book and collection of songs Danes sing together from in many occasions - to start the working day, the new day in school, to celebrate, to start a meeting, to sing at a wedding, funeral… Actually it goes with all moods and occasions. To sing is to live!

The Welcome Alliance is a movement with one clear objective: to make Denmark the most welcoming country in the world. Working with other cultures can be difficult but also highly beneficial if you know how.
